It was the 19th of June 1981 and Danny Elfman said "Let there be lad", and thus the band's first album manifested itself out of thin air to the dismay of punkass critics everywhere.
With its fusion of new wave, ska, little girls, subtle tongue-in-cheek and rock, the debut album successfully brought back world peace, at least in California.
