BOINGO
Following a 4 year Oingo Boingo hiatus and a hardcore midlife crisis, lead singer Danny Elfman saws both the horn section from the lineup and the Oingo from the band's name and releases Boingo in 1994, celebrating the Oingoless name. The band split a year after.
'Twas the story of the band's most curious album. This edgy grungefest shows a very surprising deviation from Boingo's expected Oingoness, and it's very evident in its 15 minute songs and incredibly subtle lyrics.
